WoH is arguably the best Elite monk skill for pve, however like you said it is a fairly easy cap. I would either unlock ZB or Healer's Boon, both great skills.

If you're going to be hybrid or ZB prot, Healer's Boon is a crap elite.
Get Zealous Benediction - it actually promotes solid monk play. Then go cap WoH and you should have all the monk elites you should ever need *slight exaggeration*

thanks for the quick replies, but i thought that hb was reb bars only, no prots, nearly useless unless you have a dedicated proter

WoH is king. thats what you should be using most of the time. the only other elite I would consider using is a heavy-hex or heavy-condition skill like [RC] or [Divert Hexes].
HB is crap, pure healing has always been a waste of energy

Cap [WoH] - most used Eilite - best for straight Heal.
If you prefer Hybrid the go for [Zealous Benediction]
If you're planning on going PUG/PVE crazy then [Healers Boon] will get you into most groups - despite what some others say - it is the best group heal (only) elite you can get.
I also like [Shield of Regeneration] - for melee heavy prot bars - but thats easy to cap.
[Blessed Light] for anti condition/hex does ok.
Any others are really for specific builds/areas - pick up as you need them.

I would do what he said as these are the hardest to cap if you don't decide on WoH.

I second [restore condition]. It is an irritating skill to cap, and useful!

Another vote to Restore Condition here. Divert is also a good choice.
If you want to heal, WoH or ZB. I wouldn't recommend either of these because they're dramatically easy to capture though (Timewise, that is). Same goes for Blessed Light, although that takes a bit longer.
@Arlan: If you want heavy defense against melee, Shield of Deflection heavily out does it.
Also, just to say why Healer's Boon is bad...
You have devoted your elite to one skill. Heal Party. Healer's Boon works on other skills, but at the same time your main priority is healing and healing only, and trust me, it's better to have more prots than it is heals when a single WoH / Patient can clean up the damage that slips through. You can always run PSpirit on those bars though...

The only monk elite i find thats actually semi difficult to cap is... wait cant think of any... ummm assuming you have all the campaigns, and ur in no rush to get skills id sell the tome. Otherwise, go for RC/SoD, coz both are good, fun and in the ring of fire. Actually SoD may be in eotn now... i know the undead in Orr use it...

Another vote for [Restore Condition]. You will get a lot of milage out of it, and it's kind of a pain to cap. [Divert Hexes] is pretty useful for Hard Mode Ascalon, but you won't be hitting that for a while, and once you get to the Desolation, the boss is pretty easy to kill.
Shadowspawn X, it's spelled "tome".
Arlan, [Word of Healing] is extremely hybrid friendly.

definitely Restore Condition. imo, in terms of most used compared to hardest to cap this is the one elite i recommend. i may not be explaining this properly. i use WoH and ZB more than most other elites but they are fairly easy to cap fairly early in the NF campaign so i wouldn't waste a tome on those. DH i use from time to time but once you get to the bone palace, you just hop in a wurm and demolish the group Amiresh is with because he is always in the same spot. relatively easy. RC is only cappable from one boss who can spawn in a number of different spots and sometimes he doesn't spawn at all. not only that, but the area he spawns in, is no cake walk, even in NM you still need to pay a bit of attention and that area is near the very end of the longest campaign in the GW saga (if you play through the storyline progressively as opposed to just being run from one area to the next).
so go [restore condition] in my opinion

Seconded for ZB.
HB is like the US education system. It's fun, but will eventually dumb you down.

Since WoH is an easy cap, go with ZB, RC, or divert. Most of the time, you really shouldn't need any other elites besides those.

Agree with Snow Bunny - restore condition is both an amazing elite and a pain in the arse to cap.
